Use Access DB without Access?

In order to use an Access Database including the forms and reports for that
database does someone need to own a copy of Access? Is there any way to use
an Access db without owning a copy of Access?

The user's PC MUST have Access installed. It can be either a licensed version
that they have paid for or it can be the runtime version which the developer has
paid for.

Hi John

You can freely distribute a runtime version of Access that will run an
application but not allow any design or access to code. It comes as part of
the "Access Developer Extensions" (ADE):
