Multiple users accessing the DB

Hi All,

I have a DB on our local share drive and a copy of the same DB on offshore
share drive. The DB on local share drive is accessed by mulitple users, but
the DB on offshore is having an issue when mulitple people try to access it.
Only one user is able to access the Db at the same time. I am not sure why
this is happening.

Are there any settings in the Db that I need to setup for mullitple user to
access? But the on the DB on our local share drive is accessed by multiple at
the same time and I didn't have to setup or change any settings in the DB.
Can anyone please advise on the issue.

Is the database split? If not it needs to be. Also, the file the users access
must have read/write/edit/and delete rights and so does the folder it resides
in.
