Use a rule to convert email to plain text

I'm wondering, is it possible to use a rule to convert an email to plain
text. What I've found is that for some strange reason, my manager who uses a
blackberry, can't seem to read my emails sent to him in HTML.

We're using Lotus Notes, and I'm using the Domino connector. HE is the only
one with a problem, so I'm wondering, if i see an email that comes in with
his name in the To: or CC: line, I'd like to have JUST those e-mails
converted to plain text, so that when I hit reply, it will reply in plain
text.

Is this possible?

thanks

hmm.. couldn't have made that more clear!! :)

so, is it possible to scan the list of recipients (in either To:, CC:,
and/or BCC:) and if a specific name appears only send to that person in
plain text?

I have one person that MUST receive in plain text. anything you can suggest
here?

thanks

This you can do if they are using an Internet address (i.e., not Exchange).
If they are in your Contacts, open that item and double-click the e-mail
address. Change the "INternet format" drop-down to be "Send plain text
only". This will override any default formatting you may use to compose the
message.

I actually tried that first. The problem occurs when that person is only
CC'd and not the only person you're replying to. Then it defaults to the
original message type! :(
