usbstor.inf and usbstor.sys

Ever since upgrading to XP from ME, I'm unable to
download from my Olympus camera. Olympus tech support has
determined that I'm missing the usbstor.inf and
usbstor.sys files, which apparently didn't make the
transition. How am I supposed to get these, and where do
they go on my harddrive?

These files would be in C:\Windows\inf
However, \inf is a hidden folder. In order for you to see it and then open
it to see the files in it you need to:Click on Tools>Folder options>View>
make the change to Show hidden files and folders>Apply. Then you can see it.
Don't forget to change the setting to don't show after your inquiry there.
