usbccgp.sys file needed for windows XP service pack 2

PLEASE HELP! I have tried to reinstall a printer onto my pc and it is
telling me this file is needed but can't be found. I understand this is a
miscrosoft file and not a printer error. But from the info I have read on
Microsoft, I unstand this problem was suppose to have been resolved through
Service pack 2! If so, then why am I having this problem. I have service
pack 2 of Windows XP.

It would help us better if you told us the name of the file it is requesting
and what printer you have, that way we may be able to help you further.
