Heyas..

When my computer comes out of standby the USB ports stop working and I have
to restart the computer.. I have checked out the MS Support site and they say
to take the check out of "Allow windows to turn off device to save power"
But it still keeps happening..

Any ideas?

Install a dedicated USB pci card, they're much more reliable than
motherboard usb sockets.

I have no room for more pci cards.. the internals of my comp are full :P

Though, I could remove my pci fan.. I dont know..

I want to explore more options before i have to resort to that.

Any other ideas?

Nope,
been here, done this, got the tshirt etc etc, on several gamers machines
using usb devices (steering wheels etc.)
Of course someone else may have had better luck........
