Yes it used to work, shows up in the hardware and as a USB device, works
with WIN98se.

This is a MP3 Player and the LCD windows show it connected, the Drive
properties also show it in the list.

The only thing that does not is Explorer..

Is this time to back out SP2 as I am having lots of weird problems with it,
yes have turned off all the security features, but it still blocks the odd
dnload file with IE, those ones that you have to enable to dnload..

Intel 875 Chipset, P4 Cpu, 1g ram..

Did you assign it a Drive Letter? Right click on My Computer, select
Manage. On the following screen, click on Disk Management. Does it show up
on the right hand side of the screen? Can you assign it a drive letter
here?

Thanks Cari

All fixed now my main problem was I had added 2 more Hard Drives and run out
of Drive letters, even after removing one of the HD the USB Stick did not show
up, but was OK in Win98se, but I have blocked some of the Drive letters in XP
with TweakUI..

Now it works 100%..

Might drop (Merge) some of the extra Partitions with PQ Magic.

Are you up to date with your MBO bios version?
