USB stick works BUT not shown in My Computer

Hi all

I have a machine where USB sticks can be used they have a drive letter (E
and then show in the dropdown box of the open file dialog within
applications

BUT they do NOT show in My Computer or Windows Explorer ????

Which makes them a pain to access

Any ideas ?

Hi Andrew, i have no idea about why they aren't showing up. I use total
commander, its free/shareware, for file management. Download and install it
and see if they show up in it.

Thanks for the reply

Unfortuneatle the user is not an 'expert' and I'd rather not load on another
filemanger type program to 'solve' the problem

Get TweakUI from Microsoft Downloads and then UNhide the drive letter.
