Hello,

I recently installed WINDOWS XP Pro on to my Averatec 3200 computer. The
os is excellent except for the fact that my USB ports to not seem to work.
When I plug in a device (in this case an IPOD) nothing at all registers. I
have downloaded the most recent USB drivers from Averatec's website, but
there is still no change. I phoned them and I was told (bluntly) to check
with MICROSOFT as it was not an Averaec problem.
Can anyone suggest anything at all? Its very frustrating as I used a USB
key for transfering data from work to home very frequently.

Have you checked in Device Manager in order to see if there are USB ports
listed? If there is none, check in the BIOS in order to see if the ports
are Enabled?

Perfect!

I uninstalled and reinstalled the usbs and it works perfectly. Thank you
very much, extremely helpful!

Conor
