USB Ports and internet slow down

Hey, I have a big problem with my pc since I restarted it
from scratch. Something happened to it which made it
impossible for me to even get windows to load...since it
has been restarted I have not been able to get any USB
connected hardware to instal...my pc says there are no
USB ports even though there are 4...I have installed
every driver I have for my motherboard, pentium and USB
hardware over and over again but nothing works.

Also about 10 minutes after my computer has been started
up MSN messenger disconnects for no reason and will not
reconnect at all till I restart....Explorer also stop
finding web pages completely, and everything runs
generally slow.

Does anyone have any idea what is wrong, or how to fix it?

Alex, about your USB Devices, did you go into the Bios and make sure
they are enabled?
