USB PC Cam error 10

I have a Phillips PCVC675k Web Cam.. original installation
software states "driver incompatible"..
Got "VestaWebUpdate16" from Phillips site..
Installation starts but when it says to "plug in cam now"
I do and it doesn't recognize its plugged in..and stalls..
The camera lite is on now..but

The device manager at this point shows the device but with
a yellow alert..and error 10.
Uninstalled software and device and tryed multiple usb
hubs with no difference.

The hardware wizard gives same results.

What cha think??..

Have you tried it w/o the hubs (plugging the camera directly into your
computers USB connections)?

With the Philips software uninstalled, if you just plug the camera in - it
should work just fine. To verify, check My Computer.
