USB Mass Storage device problem ( win 2k / 20gb / 815e )

Hi all,
I am facing a problem with my 20 GB USB HDD. It is not recogonized by
my home pc. Which is running win 2K, Mother board is KOB 815e (Mercury
make). My PC detects 128MB USB flash device/USB Camera, but not this
20 GB HDD. I dont know the make of the USB HDD. Something written on
it is chinese and there is an image of a black horse. It is well
detected by many other PC's and the driver it uses is usbstore. Any
suggestions?

hi greatin,

i was having this problem with a western digital usb hard drive.
i had to update the bios in windows and some drivers.
i called western digital and they told me what to do.
so my advise is to call the maker of your usb drive.
