USB Flash drive size incorrect

HI Have a USB 1gig memory stick/MP3 player. It showed 998mb (something like
that), now I formatted the drive and now it states 119mb. I have tried
formatting again in both Fat16 and Fat32, I have also used Disk Management to
see if there was a unused partition. I can not seem to get the drive back to
1gig.

Any suggestions?

Some of them just show FAT. Check the web site of the
manufacturer.

Also try properties/tools of the drive and see what is there for
you.
