USB 2.0 card on an Asus P2B motherboard?

I've been using the USB 1.0 built in to this motherboard (running P3 1000mHz
cpu) for my printer but I'm having problems with the printing now...I
thought I'd try an USB port card and am wondering if a USB 2.0 one would
work with this motherboard...is the bios critical, or will the 2.0 card work
on any PCI slot on any motherboard?

Should work fine.

Thats a tad sweeping, but you very rarely ever see a problem.
