Have just installed a new UPS (USB compatible) and the
power options does not have a UPS tab as noted in HELP.

What check mark have I missed somewhere that has made it
disappear.

Win 2K on desktop pc. Most of the power options appear as
if for a laptop - references to "when running on
batteries", etc.

TIA

Cheers!

I don't have any APC software installed (never has been as
far as I know). The UPS is from MGE (a competitor to APC)

the Support Pages you noted seem to indicate that the UPS
will "just work" - will this trigger a shut down when the
UPS battery level gets low?

Thanks

If you have APC PowerChute Plus version 5.2 installed on the computer, you
will not see the UPS Tab.
