UPnP with SP1 question AND System Restore question

Hello everybody,
i have 2 questions:

UPnP: I just restored from SP2 to SP1 because I had some problems with it. I
want to use MSN messenger video conference but I cant establish it (I tried
it with several persons). I know that I can enable UPnP in my control
panel>windows firewall, but: I cant find this button/link! I added UPnP from
the windows XP professional (SP1a), but I still cant find it! Does this UPnP
interface feature only come with SP2?

System restore: As I said, I restored from SP2 to SP1. I got a notice that
some folders/files had to be renamed after restore (to preserve them).
Mainly files from the system32 folder are mentioned (e.g. activeds.dll was
renamed to activeds(2).dll, and so on). My question is wether I can just
delete the "copies" or if I really have to keep them. I am speaking of some
hundred or more files, which exist redundantly now in the system folder.
Any ideas?

Thanks a lot!
cheers
holger

Are you connected to a Gateway (Router)?
All XP versions have UPnP. See if it is installed (Add/Remove Windows
Components>Networking Services). If you are on a Gateway, the Gateway has to
be UPnP enabled. In order for you to receive video or files you must have
certain ports forwarded to your computer.
