Upgrading from Office 2003 to 2007 Ent, calendar permissions lost?

Supporting a user Win XP Pro SP3 fully patched, Exchange 2003 Standard.
Upgraded to Office 2007 Enterprise, when user checked calendar permissions,
everyone had access to write to his calendar. Permissions set under OL 2003
allowed for only a small group of users to have permission to write to his
calendar. We are looking to rollout to 100+ users, want to know if
permissions are "opened up" by defualt during install of Office 2007.

Thanks!

Wrong forum.

Further, Outlook does not interfere with Exchange permissions.
