Upgrading from 98SE to XP programs disappear in start menu

I've upgraded from 98SE to XP, this worked fine, but now
all my programs are gone. 98 doesn't show up in the boot
list. Any ideas?
 
It should like you might of done a clean install. Do you have anything in
your program files folder?
