Upgrading an NT4 domain

I have setup a lab environment to test an upgrade for a
client. Win2k AD, will have 2 child domains. Create test
domain with pdc, bdc, 1 XP ws and 1 win98. Upgrade the
PDC as child domain - win98 can login just fine, but the
XP is unable to login. Event 5722..essentially the trust
between workstation and dc is broken. DNS resolution is
fine. Able to use netdom to remove and join again, but
need to know why this is happening. I am afraid this is
going to happen with production upgrade, with a lot more
XP workstations.

Do you hear about secure channel between DC and W2k+ computer -
reset computer account on DC and rejoin workstation to domain (from
WORKSTATION , NOT DC)
