I have a Dell Dimension 8200 running a Intel P4 at 1.75ghz . Can I go to
TigerDirect and get a Intel P4 at a faster speed to put in my machine?

Hi Tooslow,

Processors, like RAM can certainly be upgraded. Just make sure you
have someone experienced at your side if your upgrading your internal
hardware components for the first time.

Dell is good at putting their specs online and according to
http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dim8200/specs.htm#1102278 it
appears that there are 2 main runs of the 8200 and depending on which you
have will determine the max proc. freq. which in either case is higher than
your 1.8.

You could also try http://accessories.us.dell.com/sna/default.aspx and see
if Dell sells an upgrade which removes the "what if" on whether it will work.
Could be more than other places, but might be worth a look.

Certainly. Press on ctrl+alt+delete and it appears a task manager. And you
have to keep your computer on for 12 or more hours so it will get enough kb
charge. For more information. Just mail me.
