Upgraded from Vista 32 bit to 64bit

I bought Vista Home Premium, and installed it with the 32 bit version it came
with. After installing I ordered the 64bit dvds, which arrived 1 week later.
After getting the 64bit version I did a clean install of the 64 bit windows.
However now when it goes to activate it tells me ; The product key you typed
is already in use. How do I make it so the product key that I have will work
with the 64bit disc?

I ordered the 64bit copy through windows, and paid the 10 dollar fee; using
the directions that were included in the Vista software box.

You can get started with phone activation by typing "slui.exe 4"
(w/o the quotes) in the Start Search box in the Start Menu and pressing Enter.
The phone activation process takes about 6 minutes.

It is telling you that the key is in use, because you already used that key
to activate the 32bit version. You need to follow Carey's advice and use the
telephone option to activate. You can only activate one version of Vista
with the single product key.
