upgrade problems w/2K

Hi there:

I upped from 98/2 to 2K on my dell 850. Three question
marks appear in DEVICE MGR - parallel port and multimedia
controllers. My modem is recognized US Robotics VDF 56
but will not get a dial tone. Port is already open. I've
changed com ports to no avail. All drivers are updated
(apparently!) Does one problem affect the other? HELP!

You need to go to Dell site to check available Win2K drivers for yr sys.

Who updated the drivers? Unless you are absolutely sure, as in you
downloaded the proper ones and installed them, you most likely don't
have the right drivers installed and certainly not current ones.
