no printer recognition Firmware (Code 29)

Upgraded the operating system from Windows 98 to Windows
XP on a dell xpsD333 (Pentium II). Computer does not
recognize the HP 660cse deskjet printer installed in the
parallel port.

The error message follows:

This device is disabled because the firmware of the
device did not give it the required resources. (Code 29)

Any ideas how to fix this problem?
 
Get the updated driver from hp for this printer and it will work fine
