upgrade memory...?

I was wondering... seems I read this somewhere... when adding a second
memory stick, they should both be the same size, ie. 256-256, 512-512, not
256-512 etc... is this true? does it really matter?

I've had no problem mixing sizes, just make sure your mobo supports the size
of ram you want to purchase.

What is crossposting? I only post to 3-4 different groups at a time
(sometimes) because I only get answers on 1-2 (invariably if I only post to
one group I get no answer so I then must go to another group and post...)
