upgrade memory the windows keep reboot

Hi, when I upgrade the memory on to desk top windows xp pro. the systems
won't boot up and keep try to start reboot in SAFE MODE OR IN NORMAL .I do
not want to try to reboot in safe mode . cause the previous problems. then
when I take out the memory upgrade the windows working fine. the memory is
same brand 512m. pc 3200.

That definitely sounds like a hardware problem. The memory you are adding
is bad, or somehow not getting along with the motherboard or your existing
memory.

Try it in different slots, if there are any other empty slots. Also, try it
alone (remove your older, existing memory).

PC3200, most motherboards only accept 1 stick of 400 MHZ
memory so if you are using more then 1 stick there is your
problem and since you did not bother to tell us the make
of your board, it will be hard to diag for you. Check your
manual for memory types usable on your system.
