Updating multiple machines

I have a network with 20 machines but some cannot have
internet access for security reasons. Is there a way I can
automatically download the updates to the server and then
distribute them to the client machines on the network.

You want to use Software Update Service for this. It can
be downloaded from MS just search their site for SUS.
