Updating multiple links in one step

I have a Powerpoint template with links to an Excel spreadsheet and I need to
create multiple copies of the Powerpoint presentation for various clients.
The problem I'm having is that when I copy these and move them to a different
folder and then rename them, the links still want to read from the template.
The only way I can update the links is to update each one individually. Is
there anything I can do to update these in one step? 20 links times 20
clients gets to be a lot.

Thanks.

One approach would be to add new data to the Excel sheet, let the presentation
update once to get the new data into it, then break the links to prevent any
further updates.

Personally, I'd use PPTools Merge (http://merge.pptools.com) to create however
many presentations I need all at one whack. To be fair, I have to admit a
certain bias. I wrote it. <g>
