Updating files through a firewall

I'm working through a firewall and can't get MS Spywear to
download the updated files. Is there a way to pull the
files manually. I've tried to manually update Spywear but
it's not connecting to the internet, so my firewall is
blocking the updates. I have this setup at work.

I too am trying to run the update and it says it can't
connect to the internet; i assume it's our firewall here
at work too.
I have another problem; every time i run the scan; it
finds these 3 'threats'
MidAddle
Searchexe Hijacker
IEPlugin

once i have them deleted; i run the scan again moments
later; without getting on the internet and those 3 are
back!

i still like this program a lot and hope it can be
continually improved; so i dont need to have several of
these anti spy programs running; just one.
