Would there be a newsgroup dedicated to Win XP updates?
In general this is not the group for discussing update matters.
All windows OS updates re security/critical questions, are best directed to
microsoft.public.windowsupdates.
Most theads for updates that appear here are crossposted/directed to the
above group.
