updates not installed?

Everytime i do the update it finds the most recent update,
right now is updating from definition 5687 to 5689, but
whenever i run the update again it will download the 5689.
If a new def comes out then it will say its updating from
5689 to 569x or something like that.

The only time ms antispyware says it has the latest update
is when i get one of the new downloads of the entire
application from ms website otherwise it will keep
updating to same newer definition.

I have tried disabling my firewall (zonealarm pro) and
even the norton antivirus with no success, is this a
common issue or is it just me?

If you Manually do an Update, what other behavior do you expect, a Refusal to update to (or repair) the latest?
