The Gimp 2.2.4 - The GNU Image Manipulation Program.

About:
The GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed
piece of software suitable for such tasks as photo retouching, image
composition and image authoring. It can be used as a simple paint program,
an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing
system, a mass production image renderer, a image format converter, etc.

This is a bugfix release in the stable GIMP 2.2 series.

Yes, I thank you too.

I also installed the latest GTK+ 2 for Windows (version 2.6.2)

I could not get Gimp 2.2.4 to load on this under Win 98se, crashes with
GTK library errors.

Reinstalled GTK+ 2 for Windows (version 2.4.14), and Gimp 2.2.4 loads
and runs brilliantly on 98se.

In fact runs very nicely indeed. Seems to be faster than previous
releases.

I had exactly the same experience with Win98se.
