The Gimp 2.0pre1 Development - The GNU Image Manipulation Program.

About:
The GIMP is the GNU Image Manipulation Program. It is a freely distributed
piece of software suitable for such tasks as photo retouching, image
composition and image authoring. It can be used as a simple paint program,
an expert quality photo retouching program, an online batch processing
system, a mass production image renderer, a image format converter, etc.

Changes:
This is a prerelease of the upcoming stable 2.0 release. Not everything is
in its final state, but it is close. New in this release is shared memory
support for Mac OS X, dashed stroking, a library for thumbnail handling,
and a good deal of bugfixes.

Sorry, the Windows version is still on 1.25.

LOL...

actually, in my experience with OSS, recent "unstable" tend to be more
stable than previous "stable" 'cos they usually contain lots of
bugfixes...
