Update Issue

I have downloaded the latest patch (kb835732 dated 4/12/04) and when I try
to apply the patch I receive a message that there is not enough disk space.
I have almost 500MB free on the system drive so I believe this is not
actually the problem. Any ideas what it could be.

500MB is not enough for a service pack same issue maybe with hotfix. That requires just over 700MB. Trying freeing up over 200MB more.
