update driver's on win xp

hi, ive just loaded a driver for a bit of hardware and was wondering how to update the driver,i know how to do it running win m.e. but iv'e not got a clue how to do it using win xp...any help would be greatly appreciated...kind regard's theted

Depending on what the hardware is, as you don't tell us, will influence me as to what manufactures website I visit to see if there are any updated drivers I may need to download & install.


How did you you do it in ME ?
