unwanted PC shutdown

The following problem occurs on my PC. All of a sudden my notebook shuts down
whithout no worning at all. The sceen becomes blue(it seems as it entered the
system). The message in the blue screen is: A problem has occured in the
system and is being dumpt in the physical memory. After this my notebook
restars quite as usual.

I would really appreciate some assisstence.

Probably a ram memory problem,to chk the ram and the controller,go to:
http://oca.microsoft.com/en/windiag.asp Most download to a formatted MS-DOS
floppy,then boot to floppy,however i believe it will run of a cd also....
