Unreadable DVD-disc (crashed during recording) "unfinilized"

I just performed 7 really important interviews and 2 of then on the same DVD
disc can´t be read in any DVD-player, not even the one that recorded them.

My problem is that I see that there is information recorded on the discs
when i look at its backside (under the DVD-disc), but I can access it. I
phoned the support for the DVD-recorder I had hooked up to the videocamera
and they thought it must be because the recorder got problem at the end or
right before finalizing the disc. All DVD-players thinks the disc is empty
and can´t read it at all. The infromation is there but they can´t see it.

Is there a way to recover the data (video) stored on the discs? And how do I
do it? Can I download any program to do it? Seems the DVD-recorder crashed
during recording and thats why it can´t be viewed even in the recoringdevice..

PLZ Help me, I really need those video-recordings.

I'll give you a link to a data recovery program that was recommended by
someone I respect but if the data is truly important I wouldn't mess
around with doing anything yourself. I'd just call a professional data
recovery company like DriveSavers (http://www.drivesavers.com). Their
services will not be inexpensive, but only you can determine the value
of your data.

http://www.jufsoft.com/badcopy/ - BadCopy Pro
R-Studio - http://www.r-tt.com/ - also highly recommended but I don't
know if it does CD data recovery

Whoa, I'm neither although thanks for the nice words. If it works,
great. Do post back with which program worked for you.

"Computer Goddess" be substituted in the OP's previous statement.. ;D
