Unpinning from Start Menu

My mouse is unresponsive when trying to 'unpin' programs
from my start menu. It works to cut, copy etc. but has
no effect when trying this action. XP Home Compaq Presario
Suggestion?

How 'bout doing it with the keyboard.

Press the Windows Key
Use the arrow-keys to highlight the item on the Start Menu's lefthand section.
When you get to the item that you want to Unpin, press the menu-key located next
to the righthand Windows Key.
Use the arrow-keys to highlit "Unpin"
Press: Enter.

Does it work?????????

Please say: "YES". Even if you must lie to me. I need to hear that it worked!
