I'm having an issue that I have been unable to fix for some time. I "pinned"
two shortcuts to the start menu a while back (using XP Pro) and now would
like to unpin/remove them. If I right-click on either of the shortcuts,
Windows will not allow me to change them in any way. Unpin does not work,
remove from list does not work. If I try to rename the shortcut, it allows
me to type something new in, but when I hit enter, it reverts back to the
original name. I can select properties and see those, but nothing looks out
of the ordinary. The executables are still valid and in the folder stated in
the shortcut. I can't reorder those two shortcuts either. I am able to pin
new shortcuts and remove those.
