Remove from Start Menu?

H

Hymer

Hello,

I downloaded Firefox 2.0 and it was pinned to the Start Menu. However, the
old version of Firefox is also still pinned to the Start Menu.

I tried to Unpin From Start Menu and Remove From Start Menu but it will not
remove.

Is there a way to manually remove the old Firefox from my Start Menu? My
Add/Remove Programs only has the newer version showing so I can't just
uninstall it.

Thanks a lot,

Bob

Hello Hymer,

I found the following pages on Firefox and thought it may help you out:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_Firefox

Also found this:
Firefox uses these three folders:
If necessary then backup files/settings you want to keep: Migrate/Copy Files
to a New Profile)
The program folder: C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\
The profile folder: %APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\ (incl. profiles.ini and
pluginreg.dat)
The cache folder: %USERPROFILE%\Local Settings\Application
Data\Mozilla\Firefox\
Profile folders have a random name (e.g. xxxxxxxx.default).
:

All of the files were found on http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/

Hope this helps,

Matt M
