Unmovable files and ikons

On my desktop I have icons which are a kind of invers of
the original icons. Properties shows that these are not
valid shortvuts.

My problem is that I cant get rid of them. I have tried
every way I konow of without success.

I have a similar problem with som mis-placed files,
undeliberitly placed in a map on the desk. I cant do
anyting with them either.

Can you help me?

Hi,
How did the icons and files get there? I had a problem
like this a few days ago.. I saved some images from a
powerpoint file to a folder on the desktop... When I went
to delete the folder I couldn't... Kept saying
file/folder was in use.... I finally went into the
settings for powerpoint and switched several settings
off, and then I was able to delete the folder.... Hope
that helps or at least points you in the right
direction...
