Hi
Via EMail, a friend of mine sent the following note:
"When I was defragging the laptop yesterday it only showed a "C"
drive. There is no longer a "D" drive. The defrag message was
"Unmounted Volume" (for the "D" drive). What does this mean? What
happened to my "D" drive"
I did some research about this and found a lot on mounting a drive,
but none on what could have disnounted--if that is still proper
english--the thing.
This is a relatively small data storage partition of the single hard
drive but he says it contains My Documents...naturally.
He did not do the reading on how to mount a drive, so, whatever was
done he was not in the decision making process.
We would appreciate any and all info.
Thanks
joe
