When I try to boot up Windows XP Home I get a blue screen
that says "UNMOUNTABLE_BOOT_VOLUME"

Well that's not good is it?

Ok, so what have you been doing with the system? Any hardware/software
changes lately? What have you tried thus far?

The computer lost power during a thunder storm. I've had
a problem with it starting ever since. It does start up
into windows correctly about one out of ten tries.
Should I try running the windows repair?

Hi,

Actually, I would first run a disk check. Start/run cmd, then run 'chkdsk C:
/r' from the prompt and schedule it to run on the next boot (just follow the
prompts, it's easy).
