unlock computer

my daughter some how unlock computer is now appearing on my win xp laptop.
The laptop is not turning off - it contues to run. I'm unable to type in a
user name and password. I never had this window appear.

Please Help!!!!

Perhaps she has password protected the screensaver. If so, just switch
off the machine and switch it on and everything should be fine.

You now need to remove the password protection so that this sort of
things never happen again. Switching off and switching on is called
using brute force and it is not an efficient way of using the computer!.
