Unknown Imaging Device

I have Win XP Home. Recently, in the Device Manager, I found three imaging
devices. One is my Veo web cam, and two are unknown imaging devices
(yellow). No info about manufacturer, location, and driver is available. I
have a Canon CanoScan installed and working properly, but it is not listed
in the Scanners and Cameras or anywhere.
May someone tell me what those two yellow unk imaging devices in the Device
Manager are? How to correct this error (listing in the DM)? Why my scanner
is "invisible" and is not listed?

I would guess these two items are both refering to your
scanner due to a double install-I would try right click
on each one and left clk properties to see if you can get
any further info -if that doesnt help-I would remove
both of these items and see if scanner still works- If
not then reinstall scanner by shutting down and
rebooting -windows should detect new hardware on reboot

Jimman,
I did uninstall both unknown imaging devices. So far, I did not notice any
bad effect of it. Both my scanner and web cam continue to work as usual. I
think, I'll live without those two unknowns...
