unistall log is missing

When I go to try to uninstall a program the uninstall.log
shortcut is missing and then it states that I know longer
have it. How do I get it back? Anyone!!!!Thanks

Megan;
Old advice that often works. Try installing the program again, the try
uninstalling it.
