quicktime uninstall

Hi everyone I am trying to uninstall Quicktime from windows xp. when I
click on the CHANGE/REMOVE icon I get this message 'the following file does
not exist or is not a valid uninstallation log file. '
C:\WINDOWS\System32\Quicktime\Uninstall.log
any help would be greatly appreciated thanks Davo

You might find that reinstalling Quicktime and then immediately uninstalling
it helps.

I am having exactly the same problem as you and as a result cannot get i
tunes to install properly. i would be greatful for any advice
