I am having trouble with Quicktime and my computer will not let me uninstall
it in add or remove programs in the control panel. Its says the following
file does not exist or is not valid uninstallation log file.
C:\WINDOWS\System32\Quick Time\Uninstall.log How can I manually uninstall
this and not mess up anything in my registry and then reinstall it?

Have you tried running the install program? Often they will detect the
presence of the software and provide an uninstall option. If not, install
atop of itself and then you should have the uninstall entry in Add/Remove
Programs.

I just need to know how to remove the program manually and safely.

It isn't that easy removing Quicktime by "brute force". QT
interpolates into the Windows Registry and these values will
also have to be removed. It would be better to re-install
and then remove through its own uninstall applet or via the
Add/Remove Programs applet in Control Panel.
