uninstalling xp

could someone please help me i want to reinstall win 98 on my pc howvwer i
cant uninstall windows xp. xp was the first os to be put on so i cant
restore. so what should i do. i want to completely format both my hard drives
and start from scratch.

1. Delete the Windows XP partition.
2. Create a new partition.
3. Format the new partition FAT32.
4. Install your desired Operating System.

Since Win 98 was never installed, you will need to do a clean install of 98.
Backup your important files that cannot be restored from other sources
before proceeding.
Also by replacing XP with 98, there is a good possibility you will lose the
ability to return to XP if the restore files are only on the hard drive.
