Help! I need to install windows xp prof. on my gateway. Do I have to
uninstall windows 98 first, or is o.k. to have two OS. If I have to uninstall
windows 98, do I need the cd?

If you boot from your XP CD, you'll have several options. You can keep 98
and have a dual-boot machine. Or, you can wipe the drive and perform a clean
install of Windows. You'll obviously want to backup any sensitive data
BEFORE starting this process.

If you want to multiple boot operating systems, install the operating
systems in the following order:
1. MS-DOS
2. Windows 95, Windows 98, or Windows Me
3. Windows NT
4. Windows 2000
5. Windows XP
