I keep getting a message when I open programs that this
program is not a valid win32 application. So I've been
told to correct this I need to uninstall windows. Well I
went on this website to find out how to uninstall
windows. I follow the directions, but the problem I have
is that I cannot open add or remove programs, I get the
error message. If anyone can help me with this I would
really appreciate it!
Thanks,
Bonnie Katalenich

Hi Bonnie,

You could only uninstall if the installation was originally an upgrade from
a Win9x system. Besides, it wouldn't help, so whomever told you that is sort
of clueless.

The error message *could* indicate an infection, but not necessarily so. I
would update your antivirus definitions and run a full system scan to rule
this out. Chances are that this is more of a system problem. Does it happen
with ALL programs, or just selected ones?
